Starchild Kayla, one of three artists selected to join the first year of the Pepsi Music Lab™ program out of thousands of applicants, showcased her new original track "Up!," created and recorded at Pepsi Music Lab Academy, at the 2022 "Strength of a Woman" Festival and Summit. This multi-touchpoint three-day festival focused on Music, Wellness, Tech, Beauty, and Financial Literacy, and was co-produced by Mary J Blige and Pepsi. "Strength of a Woman" is the evolution of Mary J Blige’s mission and purpose, as she has committed the majority of her career to amplify, empower, and give voice to BIPOC women through the art of music and truth-telling.
